The cerec process of creating new and beautiful restorations is accomplished right in front of you.

The damaged tooth is sprayed with a minty tasting powder. A hand held camera (with blue ray technology) is used to capture a picture. (No more goopy impressions)

We then design your beautiful restoration, which is then milled in the office. It is then polished and bonded to your tooth.

METAL AND MERCURY FREE

For many years the only option for dentists restoring teeth was amalgam which contains mercury or gold. Now we can offer a totally metal and mercury free restoration. The cerec has also allowed dentists to save tooth structure by designing onlays.

These new cerec porcelains are similar to natural enamel and are completely bio compatible.

The tooth is prepared for the procedure by lightly etching the surface and applying a bonding liquid. Once the liquid sets, Dr. Barrett applies a plastic resin and sculpts it into the desired shape. Once set, the resin is trimmed, smoothed and polished to a natural appearance.
